Retirement housing lets you enjoy your retirement and keep your independence, without the worry of home security and maintenance.

 

Sarsen has nine retirement housing schemes in Wiltshire with private apartments. Each comes with a fitted kitchen and bathroom and a 24-hour emergency call system for extra peace of mind. You can also share some facilities with other residents, including a lounge for socialising, a laundry room, guest bedroom for visitors and maintained gardens.

 

You don't have to live in a scheme to benefit from our retirement services.  We offer the same services to our older residents living in other homes (usually bungalows) close by.

 

Supporting your independence

Every scheme has a retirement services co-ordinator during office hours from Monday to Friday to provide practical help and support.  They can give advice about money matters, social activities, home safety and more.  

 

Home security and maintenance

There is no need to worry about home security and maintenance. As well as keeping on top of general repairs and maintenance, we have a planned improvements programme that includes window and kitchen replacements and central heating upgrades. We can also adapt homes, if you have a particular need.

 

Helping you feel at home

To help you feel at home, we've produced a  retirement handbook  with the help of some of our residents.  It gives you lots of useful information about your home and the services we offer. It explains our responsibilities and how we'll support you to enjoy a high quality of life.

 

Rent or buy

Most apartments are for rent, but a number are for sale through the Leasehold for the Elderly scheme.
